These can be taught on-site and involve not only a lecture componenent but also hands on exercises to learn the principles taught at the time they are taught. Chemical Resources on the Internet is a workshop for scientists, chemists, and engineers in the basics of searching chemistry information on the Internet, including literature searches using the journals, databases of spectra, and structure searching and general chemistry portals.
Making Effective Decisions is a workshop for anyone wanting to learn how to make more effective decisions. The workshop covers defining your problem, clarifying what you are trying to achieve, looking at alternatives and consequences, and dealing with uncertainty. Case studies will be used to develop practical experience using these techniques.

Statistical Process Control is a workshop for scientists, chemists, troubleshooters, and engineers in the basics of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Practical Measurement System Analysis is a workshop for scientists, chemists, troubleshooters, and engineers in the basics of measurement system analysis, including Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gage R&R) studies. The math is done using software.
