About Ed Vawter

I’ve been interested in information technology since before there was an internet, orignally learning how to find information using gopher and wais and retrieving the files via ftp. Now I run my own information services business called QD Information Services specializing in science and technology with a focus on chemistry (QD is the Library of Congress designation for chemistry). I have always enjoyed tinkering with audio and thought a podcast would be an excellent way to allow me to share what I’ve learned and continue to learn in regard to finding all sorts of information on the Internet.

I listened to podcasts for about a year before deciding to do one of my own. I hope you enjoy this podcast and please let me know what you think.
