AIIP Presentation on Bookmarklets

I recently gave a talk at the Association of Independent Information Professionals (AIIP) conference on using bookmarklets. I recorded the audio and decided to put that together with the slide presentation to form a screencast. Here’s the description from the conference brochure.

Using Bookmarklets to Improve You Web Browsing Efficiency

In this session, learn how to improve you web browsing experience regardless of which web browser you use. Learn what bookmarklets are (small javascripts) and how to use them to easily accomplish tasks that we all perform everyday. Perform the same search on other search engines, translate foreign language pages, convert long URLs to short ones, highlight search terms on a page, and many more in one click.
