Searching the Internet Quick Tips 004: Worldcat.org

This site allows you to find library materials such as books, compact discs, and recordings at a library near you. You can refine your search results and then locate a library nearest you that has the material. You can even go directly to the library’s card catalog. I highly recommend this site if you have a need for a book or other reference and it isn’t in your local library. You can think of this as one giant library card catalog for most of the world’s libraries.
